I like to keep to the speed limit myself. In all of the years I've driven, I've never even had a parking citation.

If you are driving, why would you get a parking citation?

I've always beleived that it best not to give an officer something to look at, like a vehicle blowin by them. I guess since I drive a dumptruck that has a GVW of 68,500 lbs its hard to get the speed up, but its even harder to stop them. At 55mph it requires 460ft to stop one of these big monsters. So, maybe I've just gotten use to driving at a slower safer speed. "Hey, let the other guy get to his grave first, I always say."

If you drive the speed limit on the turnpike in OK that'd be 75. Speed limits are 70 on I-44 and I-70 all the way to Ohio too.

Well, I used to own a VW bug, but that was because they were cheap. My DH bought us a Toyota 4-Runner. That really says nothing about me since it isn't the type of car I would own if I were rich. Now I did love our Dodge Ram before it was wrecked. I happen to love Dodge Rams but I also love Jeeps. I don't care for too many cars. The only other car that I have seen that I loved was an older Mercedes, pale yellow convertible. So if I were rich I would own those things.

I used to, the company got rid of them last year. Infact I was the companies primary trainer for all new drivers on them. They are called PUP-Trailers here in Ohio.

Here is my cute little Ford Ranger pickup. I love it because I can get stuff out of the bed without having to get a ladder. Downside it is not 4WD, and we live on a dirt road. It does get 21 mpg for normal driving too. Plus, in winter it gets warm in the cab really fast, & in summer gets cool really fast because it is small.

Just be careful. I found that, even on some of the main Highways, the speed limit changes fast and often. You'll find alot of "Speed Reduction" signs. except for Freeways and long stetches of course.
My riight arm has more muscule then my left from "down shifting" so much
The freeways out here are nothing like Ca.(Thank God). The people think that the"Free" in freeway means "Free to speed". Out there, there are so many freeways that they turn out to be the main connection to the shortest distance. When I left they were just finishing a freeway(I-210) 2 blocks from my place.
