It will be fun if we can convince our Ohio friends that the area is worth driving through.
The tech thread is spilling over into this visit to Oklahoma thread.

Now that we are all past the off topic items. Getting together with all our Okie friends sounds great to us. And that goes for CG and MK if they want to make the trek to Oklahoma from their posh homes and lives and try to ruff it with some country folks. I'm already use to it cause I'm an old farm boy from way back . So like I said before in a earlier post, we'll have let ya'all know the scoop as we get closer to our departure date. later all.

It's about a 30 hour drive for CG...
But depending on the date,
I might not necessarily rule it out.

Any culture shock?
If so, I bet it was in a good way.

It just that those guys have so much joy to spread that they felt
guilty keeping it to themselves.
Being the nice kind of lady you are,
I'm sure you'll forgive them.

Things are moving along. My son is still claiming he's going back to NJ this summer. He is NOT an 18 year old who can live on his own, but he's also stubborn enough to try it. We'll see. Anna is starting school next Monday, and has already made friends with the girl next door (her age) and her cousin. Doug hates his new job and is looking for something else. I've spent all my time running from place to place getting things settled (you'll see when you move), and trying to solve problems, and keep everyone's spirits up. Anna is going through a bit of culture shock which surprises her, but not me, I told her it would happen.
I LOVE it here. The days are almost always sunny, and even when it rains it's brighter than the east coast. Everyone is VERY friendly and helpful. Much less stress. Everything will work out, it just takes time. Thanks for asking.
