Default Spring time brings the best out of you.

I have to admit, between the seasons in Ca, and the (full) seasons in OK. The winters in OK, can set your mind off in the wrong direction.

My point is, Some time ago I mentioned my line of work on another thread and how different things are out here. Some gave very good suggestions and ya'll gave alot of encouragement.
After being unemployed (for the 1st time in 25years), for awhile things were getting rough and things were looking dark.
Now that the weather's changing, things are brightening up again.
I put in my first resume today, had an interview, and before the day was over I got a call asking my to come in tomorrow.
So it looks like I may be working for "John Deere Sales and Service" here in Duncan, OK.
LR knows where that is.
I just want to thank everyone here on CD for helping to keep me out of the dark zone.

Come on,,,,easy, I haven't even started yet
BTW:
Primer is a "flat" paint,

I'd prefer Ford myself. But they don't manufacture the full line of equipment JD does

As far as I know, that only reair what they sell, including Lawn and Garden and farm equipment.
So this would take me up a few steps higher.

But I'll still have a side line.

Just don't make the mistake some people make... especially those from CA.

And that mistake is, when they ask if you have any salary requirements..DON'T mention CA salaries!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is OK, just get your foot in the door. Take whatever they are paying and be happy with it, then join the rest of of us in abject poverty.

I know what you mean. I was laid off in early December, but now I have a new job that will start at the end of this month. Sounds like things are about to turn around for you too.

So now you are becoming a greenie, mk?

Wish you were going to work at John Deere in Ada. They need a mechanic desperately but I don't think they know it.
