Thank you, sweetie. Yes -- pretty soon when I've been through my first tornado, I will be all grown up! I've been busy trying to get everything put away and making all the necessary address, bank and phone number changes. Once things settle down, I'll have more time for posting. Always good to hear from you

In the past four years we've had scores of thunderstorms, but only two of them actually scared me - and one of them took out a tree in my back yard.

I'm not saying that you can just shrug these things off, but hey, it's Oklahoma, we get storms.

I have no idea how many there are throughout the state, but there is one just a little south of us.

Really nice place built into a hillside, with just the front of the house sticking out... looks very cozy and secure! I may have a half-way decent pic of it some where... the front faces ESE so it is on an odd angle for catching a drive-by pic.

My brother lives in Ardmore, and he had a storm cellar put into his property. I have a healthy respect for these storms. I would do the same thing if I was in his situation.

No, she ain't either. (to put it in teenager talk: Like I am so sure~!)

She's still gotta get stung by either a wasp, scorpion, or had 30 or more chigger bites at once.

Then she has to have a little TV on top of one of those big ol' console TV's. And there are a few other traits before she gets "bona fide" stamped on her forehead.

She also needs to learn to speak English....that joysy accent tends to make people feel sorry for her speech impediment........
