Colleeng, if you're north of Mustang pay close attention to this. Now if you're on the south side of Mustang it looks like you'll be ok, but may want to keep up on it, just in case.

Just reported a tornado on the ground near Lookeba. That's almost 40 miles due west of Mustang. I can already tell it will pass south of me in far NW OKC. If you're asking me (which no one is, haha) I'd watch for it to travel along and north of the I-40 corridor through the metro. Between Mustang and Yukon over to the fairgrounds, remington park and then Jones. But, I could be wrong so watch it.

Ha, I have a friend who lives in the same described location. Could be neighbors You should be ok but I'd watch it and make sure. It will be past within an hour.

Got your iced tea? Wait, this is after 5......got your scotch?
sit out on the porch on the west side of the house......the flashes when a tornado hits transformers are awesome. It is really cool to be sitting there and the entire visible part of the city loses it's lights......and the night turns into what it was when our ancestors sat such things out.......

GP, there must be some Indian folklore about these kinds of storms.
