How much is gas in OK right now? It's 3.50 for unleaded and 3.40 for super unleaded up here.

Hi Jammie

It's about the same here, but we are off the beaten path for the gas delivery trucks so our gas costs more. I think more people are shopping locally now, instead of driving to Seminole, where the super Wal-Mart is located.

That's a bummer!!! I do remember that when we were down in Tulsa, their gas was at least a dime a gallon cheaper then ours was. We by no means live in an area where it's the highest in the nation, but it's not cheap here either.

Thumbs up here's a gas tip

Now I know that this has nothing to do with Oklahoma directly, but it will be a big help to us toward our getting there.

Today I went to an interview with another trucking company that runs dump trucks. After the interview the owner sent me out on a road test with one of his senior employee's. When we returned to the yard the owner said that he'll probably be giving me a call later on today. Which he did call me back informing me that he wanted me to join his team as soon as possible. The job has lots more benefits than the company that I drive for now. Such as, all paid holidays double if you work plus percentage of the load, no lay-off time you work year around and much, much more. But the best part is, I drive the rig home every night, so I'm not useing my gas to get to work and back "now thats a big saveings", if I say so my self.

He said that out of all the app's, mine was the one that stood out the most and was the most impressive. He also informed me that he will probable be putting me in 2007 Kenworth 6 axle strait dump, which is what I already drive now.

So this is what I would call a good way to save on fuel, and it couldn't have come at a better time . Although it may back up mine and Bjb123's travel to Oklahoma just a little bit further.

So do you like that? All I have to do walk outside and get into the truck and I'm already at work. And they'll pay me to keep it cleaned and washed at my home too.
