Post Anyone know about Healdton?

I'm contemplating moving to Healdton, Oklahoma for a job. Can anyone tell me anything about the town? I'd never heard of it and have lived in Oklahoma most of my life.

You will get far more responses with this if you post it in the Oklahoma forum rather than OKC forum. All I know about it is it's a small town about 3k population, 20 minutes west of Ardmore.

Healdton is a typical little Oklahoma oil town. It is off the beaten path but it is pretty down there. Ardmore is close by for your shopping.

There is nothing there but Oil & Gas wells and farm land. I had to live in Ardmore for a year and a half and it's not too bad. Def. not great though.
