You have it all wrong. Geez, where to start. Even the gay rights activists don't speak for all homosexuals anymore than any activist speaks for ~all~ heterosexuals on any issue.
Havind said that,
there is no homosexual agenda anymore than there is a
heterosexual agenda. Every group of people, whether it be white, black, gay or straight, has different viewpoints and worldviews, and religious beliefs.
To say homosexuals want (whatever) is to infer all homosexuals want (whatever). Wrong. You cannot speak for what all homosexuals want. Unless you have some insight into every homosexual's mindset. Which is a power I seriously doubt you want~!
No one knows exactly what percentile is gay, straight, or bisexual. Its a moot point. Who cares?
Besides,

there are those who live a str8 lifestyle, maybe a heterosexual marriage, goes to church every sunday, and post on internet forums making guesses about what gay people want,... all of which does not make them straight.
If 5% of the population tuck their tshirts into their underwear, does that mean they are not "normal"?
What makes you believe homosexuals want the approval of heterosexuals?
Where did you get that from? Are you even listening to yourself?
Think about all the idiots, rednecks, goobers, bubbas, and representatives who are supposedly straight. Do YOU want their approval? I think you need to reword your arguments. Or maybe take some time and really figure out why you are so against gays. Just say you are against the homosexual lifestyle.. and leave it at that. And everyone will respect your opinion.
This thread is turning into a trollfest. Thank you for your opinion, it really comes as no surprise and I am sure there is another person who wants to come forward now and shake their fist at the gay population and air out their feelings on gay issues.
The OP brought to light some statements made by Rep. Kern. My point from the beginning is to take issue with her statement(s) that gay rights activists are like 911 terrorists. I am neither for nor against gay rights, I just feel Rep. made some asinine remarks in her effort to garner the republican vote.
I still say gay rights activists are not in the same ball park as terrorists.
This thread seems to be turning a magnet for posts with anti-gay rhetoric, who do not discuss gay rights, but who want to rehash tired old anti-gay arguments. I have heard all the arguments from both sides for well over 30 years.
This thread is moving away from its OP, and will wind up being moved to the P&OC forum.
