Ponca is a town of about 25000 people, former home of Conoco. Town has lots of amenities similar sized places do not have, because of the oil industry. There is a hospital, multiple movie theatres, golf courses, and lately casinos.

If you are under 30, you may find the 'nightlife' limited, but there are places to dance and or drink. Stillwater is a college town 40 miles south if you need more. OKC, Tulsa and Wichita are all within 90 minutes.

There are several apartments to find in the area, some along Prospect near 5th or near Pecan. I'm new to the area and these were the areas that I preferred. Good luck!
