I had a yard machine until a few years ago. It was inexpensive but that baby ran forever and was lightweight. The only reason I got the John Deere was because I wanted a bagger; it helps to keep the weeds down (sucks the seeds right up!).

All riders are set up for a bagging system.
Is your John Deere set up where you can attach a canope over the seat?
So far JD is the only ones with that setup.

If it lasted that long it must have had a "Briggs and Stratton" engine on it.

John Deeres are built good,,, it's not a "ZTR" model is it?

(ZTR= "Zero Turn Radius) they can speen on a dime.
