I met Ray Stevens in the Atlanta airport in 1979 and he gave me his autograph but I lost it. He signed it "Ray Stevens."

I miss and loved those old song from back then, they were alot of fun to listen too. Unlike most of the garbage they call music today. As my Father use to say "the reason the kids at these concerts do all the screaming, is because the music is so bad, they want to dround it out." Well sorry Dad, but most of this noise they call music today, I wouldn't listen too.

Oops, once again, SeabeeBolt, I'm going to have to disagree with you. Don't count out all the music kids listen to today. Sure, some of that screamer stuff is difficult to listen to, and some of the rap is downright obscene, but there are some good groups out there too. CKY, Green Day and Good Charlotte come to mind. Also, if you want to see a really energetic group, with phenomenal guitar playing, check out Dragon Force:

YouTube - DragonForce - Through the Fire and Flames

Every generation seems to look down on their kids' music, but if you really listen to some of it, it's very good, and some of these artists are extremely talented.

WOW!

You have pretty good taste for your age.

You should have told my son that you appreciate Dragon force...
He would have talked your ear off.

I'm in southern California, inland valley. It was 102 yesterday. It shouldn't have been but who told the weather gods? Thankfully the next few days are going back to 75 of so, but when summer really hits, 102 would be a nice surprise. We hit 110 most of the summer.

I'm considering Ok and unless the humidity is extreme as long as the air is moving its tolerable.

I laugh when people think 85 is hot lol
