We got slammed with some pretty heavy rain, thunder and lightning. One streak of lightning hit the ground right in front of our garage where we were all standing admiring mother nature. The crack of thunder almost gave me a heart attack. It was great!

Here are some pics of damage from a small tornado east of Holdenville.
This house had its roof damaged and the windows blown out. No one was injured though.
The roof was torn off their barn.
Big trees were uprooted.
Beginning of the damage area, from the south. I would guess the damage area was about a half mile wide, maybe a little less. At least a quarter mile wide.
This tree has a few broken branches from the tornado. It is across the road to the west of the damaged house.
Big branch torn off tree. In the background you can see the storm cellar. It looks like a good storm cellar.
This is getting to the end of the damage area, north of the house. I hope all the cattle are okay! I'll bet they were scared.
This old barn was well on its way toward collapse, but the little tornado finished it off.
On a happier note, here is a pic my husband took of the moon reflecting on the water.

Peggy,
I have a question regarding the tree across the road and to the west of the damaged farm. Is that a headless penquin standing next to that tree?
You, Ladybird, and others post some wonderful pictures. Makes me feel like I'm traveling down those streets and roads right along beside you. Thanks for sharing.

Ha ha, Trinaz. No that is not a headless penguin. It is a mineral feeder. It is like a pan with a slanted cover on it to keep the minerals for the cattle dry.
Thanks for the compliments. I like to share my pics.
