Looking for information on Storm Shelters for handicapped older family members. Any suggestions?

Yep! and when you do get a safe room built, make sure its done by a qualified builder that has lots of References of previous jobs that you can call and check on.

The only Storm Shelter builder I could find (near there) in the online yellow pages was this one: Hausner's Limited. They are located in Durant.

That picture of the storm shelter looks just like the one we have. It is a good one, never has any water in it no matter how much it rains. The metal safe room sounds good for a handicapped person.
