Your local Government just loves "population growth". That's way there's so much "redevelopment" going on along with "eminent domain" abuse.
They're making room for those who don't belong in this country,(for lack of a better word). Texas,,,,,,,,another Ca, in the making.

Arlington alone is almost as big as Tulsa.

And the whole area is still growing, rapidly.
And I thought the east coast was crowded! You may have a lot more room, but 6.5 million people is a LOT of people.

If I could just pull up stakes and move, lock - stock - and barrel, I'd do so in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, it can't be done.

I will, however, probably be moving to rural Pennsylvania in the coming months.

Years thereafter, I hope to return to God's country (Oklahoma). My sister and BIL own a couple of hundred acres in Seminole County and she told me last night that they would sell us some land at a good price.

I will definitely take them up on the offer. At some point, I WILL return to my home. I just hope I'm able to walk and talk and appreciate the beauty by that time; it's my dream.

Forget DFW, I'd call it the DFWFMAIDGMGC Metroplex. (Dallas, Fort Worth, Mckinney, Arlington, Irving, Denton, Garland, Mesquite, Grand Prairie, Carrolton Metroxplex).

Hi Colleen. I'm looking in the Lehigh Valley area; Bethlehem, Allentown, East Stroudsburg, etc. It's a beautiful area. I think I like Bethlehem the best. With some recent news, I may be getting a job where I can work from home anywhere in the US. If this comes through, we'll be looking at Bethlehem for sure.

It is a giant megopolis and is getting far to big for me. More people, more pavement, more traffic...
