Glad you're settled in. We're still settling in, looking for jobs, just now selling our NJ house, etc. But we really like what we've seen so far.

My ex boss's husband in Utah was from New Jersey so I guess I liked that New York accent then.
I like what I have seen so far here also. I am finally settling in. I was in shock at first, but because I am so far from family.

Actually, I was born in northern Illinois, but I've been here 35 years so far, and can think of no compelling reason to leave.

I was born in Spavinaw (birthplace of Mickey Mantle) lived there 18 years then decided to make room for other people to have a chance to live in the best state in the union.I know several displaced Okies out here in S.C. and they ( like I) introduce themselves as Oklahoman's. It's kinda like Narnia " Once an Okie...always an Okie". I read this forum and just had to say something!

I would of been your neighbor in Owasso...not familiar with Manford. I guess Owasso has grown alot since you have been here......that's what I have been told anyways.
