Thanks Colleen. Ron Paul is my choice for President. But now, his campaign has kind of fizzled. He will still have my vote come November but the mainstream media has shut him out of all the debates and kept his name out of the limelight thereby limiting his exposure.
It wasn't entirely the mainstream media that did this; people in this country just seem so apathetic to anything other than the two (actually ONE) party system they don't seem to care.
Thanks for posting colleen.

I was thinking he may be picked up as a vp candidate? I remember you talking about him quite a bit. Maybe he is just treading water, waiting for the others to drown.

Lost cause this election, the socialists want to turn this place into Russia West or something like that. Be prepared to get taxed out of your azz next year. Carter's second term coming up.

Only if you're rich. I'm looking forward to Obama's tax cuts for the MIDDLE CLASS. And I'm no socialist.
I certainly don't have any confidence in McCain who said getting out of Iraq isn't important to him. If civil war in Iraq continues, then we'll have no choice but to get out of there, if we want peace and order there, just as we had to do with Vietnam.
McCain wants to gamble disorder will stop in Iraq so much that our military presence there will become just as acceptable to us as it is in S. Korea. But it's a bold, dubious gamble since the main reason terrorists are plotting against us is due to our decades long intervention and military presence in the middle east.
A lot of people need to take voting more seriously by more often holding their elected politicians responsible for their actions or lack of them by voting them out. For instance, before the Iraq War and the 2004 election, President Bush said he didn't know where Bin Lauden was, and didn't think it was important to capture him. So now guess what? Bin Lauden still isn't captured or his whereabouts known. Now with McCain talking of it not being important to get out of Iraq, that should be of serious concern to all. And I'm sure Ron Paul will strongly agree. It will be interesting to see who's really most interested in getting out of Iraq. Obama or Ron Paul.

While Ron Paul makes 100% sense to me, he will never make it because he isn't slick enough for the average American voter who will take glitz over substance.
Luckily, Obama (and Clinton) has both ......

Mark your calendars folks!
Schousse and I actually agree 99% on something political!
(Except for that "luckily" part.)
There's hope for you yet Dutchie!
(Now here's the part where she says "Bite me Puter Boy!")

It's the slickness about Obama that bothers me the most. I find the thought of him being President as very scary.
