Default Question about the new Web Site Construction

Okay, everything is working fine, verifications are back, faster loading and unloading, but there's still a small problem.

When I go to picture thread(s) through a verification link the pictures load and then unload into thread and slows everything down to the point the site stops responding and sometimes crashes.
I have had this problem only on the picture threads, both, OK and OKC threads, nowhere else.
Has anyone else had any of these problems lately?

What is your connection speed MK? If you're running off a low bandwidth connection that could be the problem. Also, if your computer is low on memory that could be a problem.

Also, are you running Internet Exploder? I mean, Internet Explorer? If so, trash that and go get Mozilla Firefox for your web browser. It's free, and can be download at Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable. Your computer will thank you.

Get back with me on your RAM (memory) and your web browser.

To check your RAM, go into the Control Panel and double-click on the "System" icon. Under the "General" tab it should tell you your processor speed and how much memory you're running.

Where's CG when you really need him?

PS. Also, have you defragmented your hard drive lately?

BTW, what is this about website construction? Are you building a website? I'm also not sure what you are talking about when you say you go to a picture thread through "verifications." It's probably a feature I don't use on CD.

I'm still trying to figure out what any of that has to do with
"New website construction" unless MK was referring to CD.

Sounds more like a local machine issue at this point...

I have "Broad Band"-2.79GHz, 256MB of Ram.I use IE. I have foxfire, I just don't use it.

While Some of us were not receiving email verifications from CD,(last week) I cleaned the disk, defraged and restored my computer and updated OS fromXP sp2 to XP sp3,
Before this my computer was slower with less memory and had no problem going on the "Oklahoma Picture" thread or the "Oklahoma City Picture" thread.

You really need to upgrade your RAM to at least a gigabyte MK. And USE Firefox, it runs faster, and is a smaller program than IE. Have no fear, you can import all of your IE bookmarks into Firefox.
Gotta go for now, but I'll check back with you later.
