Default Idabel Schools

We're moving to Idabel and I'm trying to decide which school district we should be in, Idabel or Denison. Anybody have suggestions or experience with the town (besides just driving through)?

Sorry to tell you, but I didn't know what poverty and weathered, run down living conditions could really be like in Oklahoma until I took a drive through Idabel several years ago. In Stilwater, such conditions like that simply aren't permitted to go on for long. You'll get harassed by city hall to fix things up.

Default schools

Denison- Denison is k-8 about 280 students. After that they would go to Idabel High or Haworth. Idabel has to many schools now. The kids are all spread out. They have George School pre-k to k, Idabel Primary 1st to 2nd, Central 3rd to 5th, Idabel Middle 6th to 8th and then they go to Idabel High 9th to 12th. I would send them to Denison.

So glad to hear that. Another town I was interested in. Maybe when I retire.
