Teacher relocating from Florida!
Hi!
My boyfriend and I will be relocating to OK in the next few weeks. I have been applying to various school districts, in Oklahoma County, Canadian County, and Cleveland County. I have read previous postings, in which I have heard good things about Edmond, Moore, Norman, Deer Creek, to name a few. I have recently heard from El Reno schools, and was hoping you all could shed some light on this school district.
Help!

Not sure when El Reno made it to the playoffs in football, so not sure you will be happy there. Academically and socially it is a good school, good kids, pretty good admin....just not sure how well you can take it when your football team are losers............course, to be right up there with the best, you would have to go to Jenks or Union..........

They are only rated a 5 out of 10 on this website.

My advice is BE different! Teach at a Native American boarding school! The feds have great benefits and you will be rewarded with a great cultural experience.
To name a few, there are Concho, Sequoyah, and Riverside Indian Schools. I think Concho is elementary.
Riverside Indian School - Index
RIVERSIDE INDIAN SCHOOL
Located at Anadarko, the Riverside Indian School is the nation's oldest federally operated American Indian boarding school and is one of four such schools remaining.
