Default cost of living in southern oklahoma?

I make $13/hr in Florida and it is not enough to live here. How does the cost of living in Oklahoma (Jackson County area) compare to the wages offered? Are there jobs available? What sort of skill/field/experience is considered comparable w/my current salary (or more) over there?

Hi. If you go to Sperling's Best Places you can do a comparison of the city you live in and the city you're interested in. You can find out how much cheaper it'd be to live in southern Ok. You can also compare many things there such as religions, schools, political parties, etc. I can definitely tell you that it's much cheaper to live in OK then in Fla. We have family in Fla. so I have actually done a comparison. For instance, if you make $40,000 in Tulsa, you would need to make $59,000 in Eustis. That's about all that I can answer for you, but hopefully someone will come along and answer your other questions.
