We've made it!
It appears we've dug ourselves out of that gigantic hole known as Summer here in Oklahoma! Not that it's exactly Fall yet, but at least the weather is nice. I'd say we only have a few 90's left. I'd like to say we're done with them, but they can last well into October, even early November

Hey Nameless, nice to hear from you. How's school going? Are you living on campus, or at home? Is college everything you thought it would be? Some info, please.

I'm a little late, but it's 10:30PM here and already down into the mid FIFTIES!
Supposed to be 47 here overnight. Looks like at some point this week I'm gonna need to make sure the heater will fire up. I waited last year and the gas valve was stuck open and took me two nights of careful banging with a hammer to unstick. My HVAC guy says he thought it might have been moisture on the valve making it stick. We'll see if she fires up tonight.
I love this time of year..lets me know hockey season is just around the corner.
Syn, you need to get up here for an Oiler game at the new building. Opening night (October 25) they're going to try to break the CHL attendance record.

I'm hoping to be up there to catch a game. Maybe I'll be the one that takes the attendance record over the top!

It was actually nice to be at the ballgame while the sun is out, and not having to fan yourself because you're so hot at 8pm in the evening!

Now if we can just edge a little closer to a near freeze to put the skeeters down.
