Default clear lakes?

Are there any clear water fishing lakes there? I lived in OKC a long time age and I remember red clay water. Is northeast OK red clay also? We are looking for a town within 1 hour of the VA in Muskogee.

Tenkiller is exceptionally clear, from what I understand. I think it is where many divers go from across the region because the water is supposed to be so clear; good for diving.

Move to Tahlequah which is North of Muskogee. You will be then close to Spavinaw, Eucha, Hudson & Grand Lakes which are all fairly clear after the Spring rains. All are good fishing lakes.
