Wd love to see any info or photos of Caney, OK in 1903-05. Especially wd like photo of 1905 downtown showing Wiler Hotel & Smith's blacksmith shop which burned in Jan 1905. Interested in John G Horner's drug store which was the source of the fire. He died in the fire. I wonder where he was buried. Any info on cemeteries in the area? Have any volunteers listed info from tombstones in surrounding cemeteries? Thanks Jonelle

I am wondering if you are talking about what used to be Reeves Grocery store. I think before it had been a bank, and before that I have no idea. However, this burned a few years ago. The Reeves family still owns it I believe. I can't remember what the writing on it said before the grocery store burned and was replaced with a metal building. It was the oldest building in town I believe. The owners are very friendly, and may have pictures your looking for.
