I asked the same question in that thread, and he hasn't come back. Yet. Maybe we should send the Men in Black out looking for him with their black helicopters! C'mon, CG, get with the program!

Yes, Auto, he was on here for months in anticipation of his move from New Hampshire to OK. He and his family arrived in April, I think, about 6 weeks after we arrived from NJ. He posted for a while after that, but hasn't posted now on a regular basis in months. The last post he did was a summary of his adjustment here. It was both good and bad. We miss his humor (very strange), and his smart-aleck remarks. Several of us all got together shortly after he arrived (there's a picture posted somewhere on the OK pic thread, I think). Anyway, we're hoping he comes back.

He is. He [and his family] and I had sort of an informal race to see who could sell out and get to OK first. I think I beat him by a couple days, but they were actually in a house long before I was. That little get-together was rather funny in itself. Almost none of us knew what the others actually looked like and all we knew were our screen names. So when we met, naturally it was in a large buffet type restaurant, and no one knew who they were looking for. Kind of like playing blind man's bluff, in a way - like "Who are you? Do I know you? Are you on CD?" It was rather confusing for the waitress, too, since we weren't quite sure who or how many were going to show up. But it all got sorted out eventually.

Oh, yeah! Especially after WA, where I got invited to someone's house maybe twice in 7 years because I was 'the sister in law' and never 'out' any place! Such a nice change.

Wow, that is a cool way to meet someone! I like how you guys had a challenge to see who gets to Oklahoma first.
