Food Banks for Stillwater
Is there a food bank in the Stillwater area, it is a charity I support in the communities I have lived. Second is there a community thanksgiving dinner somewhere in the area (or is Tulsa the closest) that needs volunteers, also my own Thanksgiving tradition. A little charity work in the am makes turkey and football much more enjoyable.

Ok, now I have a question thats been bothering me for a long time about food banks.
If you go to a food bank and take food out, do you have to return it "the food" in a set time and with interest, and is it a 24 or 36 month loan?

Stillwater certainly does have a community dinner for Thanksgiving. It's held in the big new family center of the First Methodist Church, downtown. As a matter of fact, this morning I heard on one of local radio stations on FM 105.5 someone pleaing for food donations and help with this dinner. Unfortunately, I didn't catch what to do to respond. The dinner, held around noon, is free with donations accepted.

I'd like to commend you for your tradition Oildog. I'm sure the people you help appreciate it.

All the branches have thier specialties and they excell in them, even the Puddle Pirates are needed to protect our shores, Oops! I meant the Coast Guard that is. And, on behalf of all SeaBee's around the world, THANK YOU my friend.
