What's better to go from Dallas to Miami, OK?
I-35/I-44 or I-69?
Probably a little late to respond in this thread, but "I-69" in Oklahoma is no Interstate. It's just a US highway. A very busy one at that. Lots and lots of trucks take that route because it is the most direct route for traffic running from Dallas to places like St. Louis and Chicago.

IMHO, US-69 in eastern Oklahoma should be converted to a full fledged Interstate. I think I-45 should be extended up from Dallas along that route up through Muskogee and dovetail into I-44 where US-69 hits the turnpike at Big Cabin and Vinita. US-75 between Henrietta and Tulsa should be upgraded to an Interstate facility as well -perhaps numbered as a 3-digit off-shoot of I-45. Something like "I-445" would make sense.

FWIW, the real I-69 is very slowly being being extended from Indianapolis down to Laredo, TX. Small segments of this extension are being built. One new segment near the casinos of Tunica, MS is open and actually signed as I-69.
