Dallas - Miami, OK (I-69 or I-44)???
What's better to go from Dallas to Miami, OK?
I-35/I-44 or I-69?
I've already driven through I-35/44 but I've never driven on I-69

According to mapquest.com, the majority of the driving (165 miles of it) will be taking place on U.S. Highway 75 (northbound) and 31 miles of the trip will occur on Interstate 44 (eastbound). With these directions, you should to get to Miami, OK from Dallas, TX in approximately 5 1/2 hours. Here is the link:
Driving Directions from Dallas, TX to Miami, OK.
U.S. Highway 75 is a nice highway to cruise on. Just be aware of Oklahoma Highway Patrol and you will be fine. I take U.S. Highway 75 southbound to Dallas from Oklahoma countless times and I love it. Have a safe holiday trip and I hope the directions are helpful, Dopo.

Take US 69. It will probably be a little slower than the other route, but more enjoyable. Stop for lunch here: Petes Place Krebs Oklahoma

Not flights of fancy........
What would you do? try to find good food or survive on microwaved burritos and stale coffee at a C-Store?

The last major trip I took, getting here, we stopped only at truck stops because my driver couldn't back up the truck+trailer. Truck stops, at least the ones we hit, have truly lousy food.
As for the rest, if I can't walk to it, I don't get it. I don't have to worry about stale coffee, I make my own. If I get up early enough - and I am NOT a morning person - there's a bakery that makes wonderful goodies. There's a little beer/gas/whatever place within a few blocks that always has home made fried pies that are lovely. But you really don't want to know about what else is available within walking distance. (still dreaming of onion burgers...)

I agree. The 169 route is much more scenic. Enjoy the trip!
