I find Toby Keith's to be a little generic. But, maybe that's cause the thought of him makes me want to puke anyway.

They have TONS of Braums in Texas. Do they not serve burgers at those, or have you not found one yet?

They are around, but just not in my vicinity. Most are in Fort Worth, which is ten or twelve miles to the West. I don't get out much these days...

Update: I see there is one on Pipeline road in Hurst, which is only about 4 miles from here. I won't be hitting it today though; I have a dental appointment in 45 minutes and won't be eating solid food for the rest of the day.

I guess I'm spoiled; I have, within a four mile radius of my house, five Braums stores! The closest rings in at about a mile.

I just checked the phone book to see if there's a Braum's near me I didn't know about. The only one listed has a phone number for Little, which is apparently in Seminole County. Seminole itself is about 20-25 miles away, and I can't find Little with Google. That's the first time I've come across a town name that doesn't get any results. Phooey. In fact, the only way I did find it was to go to a site with place names, and there it was, in Seminole County.

Odd. The second link shows it with the right phone #, but according to the phone book, that's the exchange for Little, 382 - even odder is that the exchanges for Seminole are 303, 380, and 382. I wonder if Little used to be one of those little crossroad places that was swallowed up by the larger city. It's still about a 50 mile round trip, anyway. Too far to walk!

MMM I love Braums I would have to say that Johnnies and Flattire Burgers (in Edmond) have some of the best burgers I've ever eaten. I myself am not a chicken fried steak fan, but and old boyfriend of mine got it pretty much whenever we went out to eat and one of his favorites was Varsity (not sure if there are any of those left) a restaurant in Harrah which is now closed...lol and Rooster's Cafe in Jones Oklahoma. I can't testify to how good Rooster's Chicken Fry is, but their Onion Rings are wonderful and there breakfast is awesome! Worth a trip if you're ever out that way
