I am SO picky when it comes to restaurant chicken fry. I think it should be more of an at home kind of thing. However, I will order it at TC's Country Kitchen out in Clinton, Oklahoma. Good gravy/mashed potatoes too. They recently moved into a space at the Red Roof Inn. I liked the "atmosphere" at the other place better. Good gravy too. Service and surroundings are typical Western Oklahoma.

In fact, the only way I did find it was to go to a site with place names, and there it was, in Seminole County.
We go to the Braums in Seminole all the time. Don refuses to buy milk anywhere else except Braums. And of course ice cream after church. For chicken fried gristle, I mean steak, that place in Wetumka is tops, the Cracker barrel is not bad, and any mom n pop restaraunt in Oklahoma pretty much has a passable chicken fried steak.

If you enlarge that google map MK posted, you will see Little is just north of Seminole. It's not really a town, more of a slow down on the hwy.

I can't believe no one has put down Del Rancho?! For a steak sandwich Del Rancho can't be beat.

For a chicken fried steak meal: I'd have to go with my wife's. Just not even fair how good it tastes......throw some Tony Chacheres on there and it's like you put chicken fried heaven in your mouth. Great, thanks ya'll...now I'm hungry.

Slightly off topic as this place isn't in Oklahoma, but Massey's in Fort Worth is a must if you're ever here. Normally, I don't like chicken fried steak as it is usually the worst cut of steak. But Massey's is awesome.

Fort Worth Hole In The Wall: Massey's

The best chicken fry and gravy in the world are at Jump's resturant in Fairfax Oklahoma. They are also very affordable and have huge juicy steaks also.

I think the best steak I've ever had was at one of the chain restaurants like Black-Eyed Pea in Tulsa. Seriously, it was the most tender, juicy, lean steak I have ever had in my life.

Braum's pretty much "blankets" N Texas. The furthest South they come is Hillsboro. We always stop there on our way back to San Antonio.

Oh Lordy so do IMy sister and I both love the limeade as well, I didn't realize Texas did not have a Braum's until she told me (she lives outside of San Antonio) So before she leaves town I find all the big gulp cups I can and we go to Braum's and order a bunch of large limeades and fill up the gulp cups and she's good to go at least for a while. Back to the Burgers though I love the big bacon cheeseburger piled high with everything. Their chili is good also.
