Oh, and on a serious note...thank you for being one of the people on C-D that fills out the profile. Even if it's b.s., I still like to read them.

Haha, and I am too, to an extent.
I like guns, I enjoy reading my bible. And your point? lol
And you know, you don't have to be religious to say Merry Christmas. You can celebrate Christmas anyway you want, no need in going and throwing a fit in saying "I'm offended, say Happy Holidays". Just shut up, imo.

But in my judgement Okies so far in this century have been doing quite a bang up job of revolting against religious right attitudes, so now we have things legalized like other states have, like lotteries, casinos and tattooing, along with allowing the liquor stores to be open during voting hours. And I don't think any one has tried to ban pornographic magazines and movies, either, recently.
And in many towns Okies are going to the polls to vote higher taxes upon themselves to approve of new civic projects. That's not my idea of acting in a conservative manner.

Yayyy! Higher taxes, porn, elimination of blue laws.....this sounds like a billboard to attract the same crowd that invaded CT over several decades. We used to be a State of incredible manufacturing, low taxes and budget surpluses. We now enjoy a multi-billion $ State deficit and costs of living that outpace most of our very high per capita incomes. Be careful what indulgences you ask for.

Still it's progress because we no longer have to worry as much about visitors coming to our state and being bewildered because laws allowing certain things like tattooing were passed in their states decades ago.

It is if you think more in terms of personal freedom. I mean, who else but me has the right to decide whether I should or shouldn't have a tattoo if I want one? And I've always thought Blue Laws were kind of strange, sort of like trying to enforce one group's religious beliefs on everyone. But that's just me, I guess.
