Massachusetts, like most of the northeastern states are high stress, overcrowded, overtaxed, overpopulated and overpriced big time. If you call that a better living than OK, you DO have to be kidding!!!

Yeah ... my sentiments exactly. The quality of life in OK is FAR superior than that on MA, as is the cost of living.

I guess you didn't read what I was saying and I don't like to be personally attacked for something I didn't say. Now I'm drawn into this stupid debate about ideologies. I'll try to rap up it as fast as I can. If you read what I was saying, I was inferring to the Democratic party being taken over by far lefty people that are borderline communist/socialist. I would not classify the current party as Liberal because I think it's a misuse of terms. If you look at all their grand schemes, it's pretty much state run everything - which is communist/socialist. I'm not excluding the Republicans from the debate because they have far righties that go too far as well. Jessaka, I know what you are saying and you know about CA. You have to agree the whole nanny state thing doesn't work. There has to be personal responsibility and that's what I was driving at with the JFK thing. I was trying to point the irony of state run everything to JFK's message of personal responsibility - that's all.

That's easy!
She wants 2 boxes of " Don't CA my OK" bumper stickers
and She doesn't think OK liberals are as communistic as CA liberals.
(I'm sure she won't hesitate to correct me if I'm wrong.)
How goes it Schousse?
Are you keeping GP in line?

That's exactly what she meant! A liberal in Oklahoma would be conservative in California. A conservative in California would be a liberal in Oklahoma.
And I'll take 2 boxes of Don't CA my OK as well!
How are you doing CG? Is that most excellent wife of yours keeping YOU in line?

I'll take a box as well. There is a distinct difference between Okie liberal and land of fruits and nuts liberal.
Thanks CG!!
Yep ... he is teaching today and tomorrow, so I can actually get some work done

I guess I'm doing.
We have another showing Thursday, but the guy
is more interested in the barn / workshop than the house.
It may be too big for his needs,
so we're not holding our breaths.

Tricks? You've got me there...
Maybe you should advertise the barn for something like 170K or whatever and say the house comes with it!
