That doesn't sound like any fun at all. I'd have at least five layers on in that kind of cold. Heck, it's 29 here in DFW and I can hardly bear to go outside in this.

If I were to move to a northern climate, I would buy electric footwarmers, handwarmers, and at least 5 heavy duty coats. I can take the cold, but only if properly prepared.

You sound just like me, Mike. That kind of cold will bite right through my skin, bones, and flesh. I am so skinny and lean, which has a lot to do with my not liking the cold.

Stay as warm as you can and take care of yourself. It would have been a wrap for me if I would have opened the front door to feel such tremendous cold wind blow in my house.

We've already gotten a foot today and it does not look like it's going to stop...The docs I work were just in the Virgin Islands and while they were there they were offered a job. Of course if they considered it they would take me with them. Told them I'm going to OK,to ride my horse in the sunshine.

Sounds like a plan. Still cold in Oklahoma, but not as cold as Maine.

New Hampshire temperatures are tropical compared to Minnesota.

I prefer the cold over the heat but this is kind of getting ridiculous!

If you don't like the cold...stay away from Colorado...we have been in the -18 range in the last couple of weeks...with highs in the 6s..we actually got a little warmer today. But for me being raised in Broken Arrow..I would much rather live here with just the snow..and not the ice like back home. Here in colorado we dont get the ice..thank god
