Default If you hate the cold

Stay away from here. 17 was the high in OKC today and that's even with no snow on the ground. I predict we will have a day in late January/early February that doesn't get above 10 and we will indeed go below zero this winter. Not that this will last a long time, a brief warm up into the 40's late week but looks like 20's again early next week. Oklahoma can be mild but it sure isn't tropical! By the way I'm loving this, I just went out to the school fountain with some friends from the Houston area, they found it amusing.

Yeh, I was laughing (to myself, of course) yesterday as I was looking at your cold weather while it was 60 degrees here in CT.

I can live with cold winters. The thing that wears on me are the years when they seem to last 6 months. I'm a little strange, though, in the fact that I love hot, humid summers.

The colder the better! I am going up to the northwoods in a couple weeks to take advantage of some nordic activities. Lows of -20F+ for a good chunk of the eastern Plains and upper Midwest this morning.

Here in Tulsa we tied the record high on Saturday which was 74, then it got down to somewhere around 19 degrees that night.

Goodness Lord Almighty, the weather here in Oklahoma is too much for me, especially this roller coaster ride or warm and cool temperatures that we are experiencing. Anything under 40 degrees Fahrenheit is cold to me. I know, I am weak and I get cold easily.

I really feel for the folks who live in the northeast who deal will anything below 0 with strong winds. It would have been a wrap for me, had I experience such extreme cold weather.

My first encounter with the teens...

Discovered that the heater does indeed work, and the air flow fans were in the right place

that my dog really really hates to go outside

that the window kits need some tlc

that I will take this over 110 any day

Just think, the forcast says 50 in a few days and it sounds so good lol
