Norman's a bit of a ride, that's where Thunderbird Lake is that I'm trying NOT to go to on a regular basis. A part of OKC is actually about 1/2 mile from my house. I'm on the western side of OKC, a little south. Downtown OKC is about a 20 minute ride from my front door.

I'm thinking that's a nice market to draw from. Lots of them thar city folk would probably love to lease a horsey out at the Circle C ranch (that's what I just named your backyard).

Let's go! Start makin' $ by puttin' some saddle sores on those city "dudes"! Your daughter will love it.

Colleen, wish I was already in OK. When I move I will be bring 3 horses,my daughters, mine and mine. I have two horses for myself. I wouldv'e been more than happy to let your daughter ride. I have an arrangement with a 17 yr old neighbor girl, that she can ride my arab anytime she wants as long as she mucks his stall and brushes him at least 3x a week.

We are coming and looking at houses from the 18th to the 23rd. I will look at some in the Mustang area.
Krisk

I have a 4 year old appy that I'd let someone (depending on who) use. He's not much to look at but pretty gentle. It's all the way in Purcell though.

I grew up around Tennessee Walkers, so I have a soft spot for them. But I'm not particular, as long as the horse is good-natured, tolerant, and pretty much bombproof. Oops - that describes mine!

Anna's favorite is a Kiger Mustang. But, she will take anything for her first horse. Hopefully we can do that for her in about a year or so.

This is Doxology, the happy appy. I will probably be selling him once I graduate (December 09!). He's what I call an in-school fixer upper.

Why is he a fixer-upper? Mine is too, but she was both neglected and abused before I got her, and while she's as friendly as a puppy and curious as a cat, she does have some issues we're working on.

He looks great, btw. If I had more room and $$, I'd start saving right now.
