Any one with direc!v watch RFD last night? It was a great show, they were showing the http://www.wpra.com/ and the Jr. Rodeo.
Those women were great! We really enjoyed watching them. I think Anna would enjoy going to one of those shows.

Krisk, actually I checked out a stable in Mustang where I can get boarding (with food twice a day) for $155, and yes, it's much cheaper here in OK. In NJ, boardind ran between $550 and $700 a month.

Do you have any pix? I have some friends who have a pair, half brothers, but they are more into dressage. Absolutely gorgeous horses!

Well, it looks like we will be horse owners very soon! We took a ride to see HeatherDawn's horse, Doxology, and Anna fell in love with him. He was a bit frisky, but she handled herself very well. HeatherDawn's mom was impressed with the way she handled the horse on her ride.
Now we will be looking for boarding in Mustang, and used tack. If anyone has any info on either, I would be very grateful to know. Thanks.

Hello, I'm new to this conversation and see that you need some tack.
I was originally going to post a question about your daughter's riding ability and see if she was able and/or willing to help us in training our horses.
We have 2 mares, one is 11 yrs old, the other is 6 yrs old.
We also have two colts from the 11 yr old, one is about to turn 2, the other will be a year old in July.
We are new to owning horses and not as good as we'd hoped to be about training them to ride.
We have them lead trained, but that's about it.
We are hoping to find someone who knows a few things to help us out and they'd be welcome to come out anytime.
On the tack note, my son's girlfriend has a show saddle she's trying to sell. I'm not sure of any of the details on it, but can ask her if you'll let me know what you're looking for.
We are in Calumet, just northwest of El Reno.
Let me know if you're interested in the saddle, or if your daughter has any tips for us, we can sure use them.
