Smile What is the town moore city like in ok

HI EVERYONE

I'm a college student, and I'm curious about Moore city, Ok, I have never lived there before, originally from il. And I would like to know from others who have lived there, what its Really like, especially for a student to be a teacher in the district there. Does the teachers get paid well there, is there jobs in that city?

I assume you mean Moore, because there is no such place as Moore City. I'm not quite sure what you meant by "for a student to be a teacher" as you have to be one or the other but since you talked about pay I'm assuming you're talking about a teacher.

I don't know the salary level of teachers in Moore specifically, but the following website will give you a general idea of teacher salaries in Oklahoma. Oklahoma's actual teacher salary is ranked low on the score of teacher's salary, but the teacher salary SCORE, which takes into account cost-of-living, average salaries, starting salaries, and more. In short, it is how far your money will go on a teacher's salary. Keep in mind this is for the state, and in places like Moore, which is a suburb of Oklahoma City the score will probably be a few points higher.

Oklahoma Teacher Salary | Teaching Salaries in OK: $38,772

Moore is a decent place to live; my Niece and her husband live there and they like it. It's near Oklahoma City and Norman, two happening places with lots to do.

Actually, I am a student in Il, and I have to have my bachelor's to be a teacher, I have been thinking about moving to Moore, Ok, and I am not a teacher yet, but its a career I want to do. I have lived in Il for so long, that I want to try something new? Do you know much about Tulsa, what is the best advice for a student thinking about moving to Moore, Ok. What parts of Moore are the safest to live?

All I know about Moore is it was pretty much flattened when the BIG tornado went through. My daughter had a friend living there and his roommate's half of their apartment was blown away, leaving his half untouched.

One would hope.

Actually, ever since NCLB all teachers, nationwide, must be "highly qualified". This involves having enough credits in the field they wish to teach in, and being able to pass the qualifying exams to become certified. I'm not sure what those exams are in OK, but you can check the Dept of Ed website for more info.
