We didn't know about it. But it does sound fun. On the way I want to see the St Louis arch and OKC Memorial site, but we'll have to see how things go, we love to just wing-it on our vacations, its alot more fun that way.

The arch is pretty neat, you can go up inside it, and it's a great view - if it's sunny. Just keep in mind that the bill to build it passed in the '30s, it was actually built in the '60s, and they've been working on the park around it ever since. I think it's going to be a permanent work in progress!

Oh, I like it, it's one of the few parts of STL I do like. I just meant that wherever you go in the vicinity there will be areas blocked of for new construction. The view really is great. Even if it's cloudy, you can look waaay down and see the city spread out. There's an observaton deck in the top with little tram cars going up through one leg of the arch, then when you reach the top, you can get out and look through the windows. They are small and thick enough so that no one can get through them to jump, btw. But if you have a fear of heights, I wouldn't recomend it. Another place that would be a great stop is the Jewell Box near Forest Park Zoo. It's an incredible huge greenhouse, and it's always full of the most luscious flowers and smells wonderful.

Wonder if he knows that Jeans are acceptable attire anywhere in Duncan. Hope they don't get all fancied up! Folks might think they are tourists.
