Yep and I heard it hit 100F in Brownsville today!
Currently it is 30F in Duncan and I popped out to snap a pic for ya.

No snow here so far, but it's been pouring buckets most of the day. My back yard looks more like a wading pool than anything. I think it's still in the low 40s, but I brought my fig tree back inside just in case. |

Total snowfall this winter was 1.9 inches in Oklahoma City. One week into spring, they send us half a foot. What's wrong with this picture?

Yeah......tomorrow we was supposed to have a booth sale at Wal Mart to get rid of these Girl Scout Cookies.....  Now we have SNOW????

We didn't need that much rain! Enough is enough, but too much is still too much. Or maybe it rained more over my house than yours - my back yard was ankle deep until sometime last night, now that it's finally stopped raining for awhile [I hope] it's still muddy but firm, with no more standing water. And there's just a hint of slush on the porch railings. |

Make a drainage ditch in your backyard to allow runoff.
We still need more rain! More! Let the frogs (and the farmers) of Oklahoma rejoice!

I have a very nice drainage ditch running through my yard, courtesy of the WPA. I guess I ought to put some catch barrels at various points under the eaves, going onto the front deck was a lot like stepping into a cold shower with all my clothes on. Lola says the same about the back.
