Another winter storm heading that way...ugh. It's about 10 here today but clear. Just waiting on Spring here; beginning to really dislike winter.

The weather people are saying that ice may be a big problem this time, and that the probability of power outages is great. That's what I dislike the most--when the power goes out. I don't mind staying indoors but having no power is the pits!

Same here. We live on a road with three residents, so they NEVER EVER get ours repaired until very last.

Thankfully, we got our furnace repaired today. Last night was deadly, it got so cold in our house, it even killed mosquitos that were hiding in the bathroom!

We put the one little space heater next to the bird cage in the kitchen last night. I just stocked up on supplies. Tomorrow I will make a huge pot of chicken stew.

Oh yeah.

Batten down the hatches and bundle up your loved ones! Got most of my shopping done today but I still need to pick up a couple of bags of charcoal and a few more gallons of water. Our house heater is gas, but my cook-stove is electric so I like to have the ability to BBQ if needed.

Tomorrow I am cooking a couple of pork roasts for BBQ pulled pork sammiches. Good Hot OR Cold.

And THIS time we are going to get the cars in the right order BEFORE the storm hits!! Last time the Trail Blazer was blocked in by the smaller cars that got stuck.

As always MK... you know where the house is.
