Hello sirenicangle, (that's a mouthful), locusts are kinda cool. They make me feel like taking a nap sometimes on a hot, lazy summer afternoon.

And they leave really cool dead shells around after they molt.

Hehe, hello and thank you for the welcome if you like you can just call me Siren ^,^ it's a name I use on all the boards I get on lol.

I used to love to catch the grasshoppers back in New Mexico, so those locusts look like great fun as well. Are there fireflies there at all? I've always wanted to see those in person.

And I would be more than happy to join the Redneck clan, I am most definitely that, my daddy raised me well in that form haha. He was raised in Little Rock and has past down some of those wonderful traits down to me . Though, I'm not as extreme as he is...I try to fix things before I resort to his duct tape...which his uses for almost everything...including his shoes.
