I recall getting a tape player in Hong Kong and a whole bunch of albums........red vinyl, pirated.......my first exposure to Procol Harum, Sgt Pepper had just come out, we taped long into the nights (we were not allowed to bring the red vinyl albums back.....besides they were so osft of a vinyl that they turned to crap after a few playings).....but the one that will haunt me more than any...........picture a night in another country, a slow dance with your first (so I thought) real love................

I remember when the Beatles started the British invasion with "I want to hold your hand" and that's when the portable record players started coming out.

Did you know England Dan was from Texas?


BTW, he passed away a few months ago..........Danny Wayland (Dan) Seals (February 8, 1948 – March 25, 2009) Seals died on March 25, 2009 at his daughter's home following radiation treatments for mantle cell lymphoma at Vanderbilt in Nashville

Gene Watson passed away not too long ago also.
