I disagree. Most former pastors that I know (and I know several) are that way because they realize things within their church, denomination, faith, or within themselves is not right. Too often pastors have to say publicly what they think they have to say according to some liturgy, not what they have come to believe. Most men and women have a fundamental bias against being hypocrites. And when what they preach is not what they believe, and when what they believe would get them fired if preached, there is only one option. But having lived the life of what the public perceives to be proper (as though a pastor has an added burden of sanctity and can't do what his deacons and congregation can do), most of us are unwilling to put up with the nonsense of those people who try to erect barriers between congregations and between people.

And if your perception is that someone who "tells it they way they see it" is being some sort of an *removed* then you need to review your perceptions as to what an *removed* is.

, Well your nothing less than direct, and I like that. I guess the words that I used..although they were meant to be sarcastic, sounded more personal. So I feel I owe you an apology.
