We are getting the truck today. If we live through the loading, it won't be long and we might just see you guys soon.
Good! I'll take this:

Red---I have to disagree with you on this one. I grew up with NJ and NYC traffic. I spent 6 months in a rural area and got lost everytime I went out. All the roads (dirt and paved) looked alike.

On a good day, when I was living in NJ, it took 45 minutes to an hour to drive to work using the major highway system.

That's cool mike. To each his own. You can have the New Joisey traffic and the "snookeys" in the city. BTDT! How the heck do you get lost on country roads? They go (for the most part) east-west, and north-south, and each country block is one mile?

And there is a cultural perspective to consider. Oklahoma is home to my People, and we have a lot of history here that predates the modern times of the white man in North America. So being in Oklahoma is being home for me.

Hey MK. If I don't live through it I guess I won't see ANYONE, huh?

And RB, you know it. I shouldn't see much if we leave here at 4AM and then we'll only have a couple of cities to deal with, but nothing like here. I CAN'T WAIT!!

We've been loading the truck all day. I'm broken down now so off to food and beddie bye. God, I'm old.

We went to Talihina Ok end of June, love the area but soon found out there is no place to go for a drink. No margarita with a chalupa,no brew pubs. Rode the bike on Talimena drive and also found out no place to get a cold beer after the long hot ride. We also found out that in Arkansas, that was also dry but you could gamble at any Cononco gas station. Odd,whats up with that? No drink with dinner but you can gamble.

Red---It has nothing to do with culture. I just need the noise, traffic, etc. of city life.

Keep my country butt out in the country where it belongs . I'm a true believer that, "If I can hit my neighbours house with a rock, then they're too close".
