LoL, that's fine. I don't mind. I've added several photos to the site that I have of family. I have many photos that have been handed down to me of my and my husband's ancestors. I'm very much into ancestry and have traced back hundreds of years, so I have much info on several lines.
Good evening to you, too. Turned out to be almost a nice day - after clouds and wind, the sun came out long enough to prove it's still there just in time to go down.
So, colleeng, how was the Sweet 16 party? Did you show them young'ns how you used to kick up your heels? Do the DISCO!
Actually, it wasn't a sweet 16 party, it was a Luau to celebrate the end of another school year. Somewhere around 23-26 kids showed up (they kept coming and going, so it was hard to keep track.) The last two, who were guys from OU, left at 2:30 am. Mom hit the sack about a half hour before that.
BTW, I was under STRICT instructions to NOT DANCE. Scott's dance floor turned out great, the kids were in the pool until dark. Scott entertained the group by doing a back flip into the pool from an 8 foot painter's ladder he placed on the deck. Took a few years off mom's life, and Anna caught it all on video.
Now our next adventure is the Jonas Brothers concert in Tulsa in June. Anna and I are taking a room so we don't have to make the drive back after the concert. I'll need some ear plugs to drown out all the girls screaming!
Just Curious. Did anyone watch the George Strait ACM Artist of the year show on CBS last night?
That was more GOOD Country music in one two hour stretch than I've heard in a long time. Even Tayler Swift (sp?) sounded like country.

Yes, I watched it.. I liked it, and yes, the songs were good. but they're never as good when sang by someone else.
Example:....
I like all of Alan Jacksons songs, but still, he will never beat Jim Ed Brown
