It depends on what type of food you are looking for.

Here are a few:

Napolis Italian Restaurant 1210 N Highway 81, Duncan, OK Very good Italian food, authentic!

Golden Corral 2815 NORTH HIGHWAY 81

Buffet King 1312 N Hwy 81 Chinese Buffet, we like it... Food is always fresh with many choices.

Don Jose Mexican Restaurant 3402 N Hwy 81 We haven't been there, but it is a popular place.

El Campesino 503 W Elder Our FAVORITE for Mexican Food, but it is off the beaten path...

For other possibilities, try our visitor's bureau.

Restaurants - the Duncan Convention & Visitors Bureau

/looking over the visitor's bureau list you should call first to be sure... I see a few that are no longer in business. If you have any questions just ask!!

The best Family restraurants( 1 being The Golden Corral) can be found just as your coming into Duncan on US=I-81 on the right handside. You'll notice a LARGE US flag waving fairly high in the sky(more to the left) Those restaurants are before you reach that flag (Plato and I-81) But that's my opinion.
LadyByrd, JR, myself and they're family met some wonderful people from this thread at the "Golden Corral" not too long ago....

I hope you have a good time. If you get a chance (and you like old stuff ) you should wander through the Antique Shops down on Main St. On Sundays most of them don't open till 10am-Noon though.

Thanks, everyone.....we came from Bonham, TX; Quanah, TX, and Velma, OK and met at Golden Corral in Duncan. They accmodoated our little group very nicely and we had a gret visit. Haliburton facilities just go on forever, don't they! Nice town with great streets (we notice things like that after living with the streets in our part of the world!).

I glad to hear you had a good time.
I guess you could say that the main(most used) routes are kept up.The older side streets are another story.

I like Velma. There not much to it...........but I think that' what I like about it

If it wasn't for Halibuton, there wouldn't be a Duncan
