i was just saying that there were other things that bothered me more, like the racism, but not all here are racists, and certainly not all republicans or democrats. i have friends who are mostly republican, but they have said nothing about the blacks, not even when Obama was running. But i know their views from the right wing magazines that I have been given. people here are buying up guns and ammo, but you know what, it is happening in my home town in CA for the same reasons. And Californians are just as racist in many ways, and like my brother said, "They are just politically correct." Well, they are politically correct here just as they are in CA, and just as what happened here during the election, it happened in CA. That shocked me about CA. It actually shocked me about OK too since I had heard nothing until the election.

The other time I see trash in Tahlequah is when I drive out of town to the river, and that is an eyesore.

It was my understanding from being on the political thread, and coming from a college student, that the politics of Lincoln were democratic, that things have switched over the years. I don't know what thread that was or how true it was, but that is what he said and kind of proved.

there are many old people here in tahlequah that voted for obama, and i was suprised when i saw many of them come out of the closet during the election, which helped a lot since I was feeling all alone for a while. all i had to do was walk into the democratic headquarters and run into people i knew. and my republican friends knew i voted for obama and i didn't hear anything bad about it from them.

laura bush is classy.

i was reading a book by a quaker minister talking about how horrible politics has become. not ever being in politics until obama, i didn't know this. he mentioned how when bush was president he was the evil one, etc. and everything that was said about bush, almost, is now being said about obama. politics is pretty bad, and so i moved away from the political forum here as well as the news. i like bryan williams, i think that is the guys name. and sometimes i watch cnn situation room, but i now turn off lou dobbs, and i tried glen beck but he caused me to not sleep at nights. ha. I don't watch limbaugh. i do like rachel maddow but we often watch american idol instead.

and men beat women and visa versa in every state of the union, and in every country, and animals are abused everywhere. just when i hear it it bothers me, and i wanted so much to live in a utopia.

seabeebolt, i am not a jp crew person. so i don't like how micheal dresses. but of course i wear jeans everywhere, and so no one could call me classy. but i like what she is doing. i am not sure about obama. but no one really knows how to fix the economy, so i just hope he does well. he does dress nice for a man in a suit. ha. i prefer jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats myself, but perhaps not in the whitehouse, and certainly not the lbj look.
I'm strongly against hitting a women, a man that can hit a woman is only showing that he is a bigger woman than she is. Spanking is nice when done for fun .

I've always worn jeans, I was country when country wasn't cool. I've only owned two suites my whole life. I have been screwed over by more men in three piece suites, than those in jeans, t-shirts, long hiar and cowboy hat.

I'm the only democrat from a family of ten kids and I don't think I'll ever hear the end of that one. And there are two things that crack my cracker the most, Voter that don't think for themselves and Complainer that don't vote.

I use to be prejudice of just about everything, but my DW has helped me see the beauty in most everything. But I won't change my mind about Illegals Aliens and lazy people no matter what color they are. Laziness is laziness no matter how one tries to justify it.

I guess what I try to do is, take the good in everything and try to make it better. Everything has potential, you just need to find a way to make it better, like Tahlequah .

Lincoln was a Republican jessaka. Please don't try and rewrite history. Oh, and for those of you who would say that Lincoln would be a Democrat today, that is pure supposition and wishful thinking. President Lincoln was a REPUBLICAN and that is a fact, not fiction.

BTW, information coming from a college student is not exactly the most accurate representation of true history.

But I already know that because an Oklahoma congressional district in the past elected and reelected JC Watts who is blacker than Obama.
