Yeah.....expensive isn't it? Of course we use a lot.... propane for our stove, for heat and for hot water. Only thing we use electricity for is the well pump, the fridge, the freezers, the lights, and the computers.....oh yeah, for air conditioning in the summer.........but gas hits us for about $300 ever six months or so.........

You are kidding, right? We pay more than that in one month here... and winter is pretty much 6 months long.

That is why I live in OKLAHOMA not NORTH. OMG NO way. I do NOT like cold. My brother moved to Billings, Mt. I would freeze to death.

We broke our standing snow fall record this year by 2.5 inches, I think thats what they said .

Montana is absolutely beautiful!! But it does get cold and the snow~OH MY!!!

I love it~2.5 inches of snow for the season. I could live with that.

The only thing is, that we broke it by 2.5 inches, we hit 84 inches in total, I think the last record setter was back in 1986 at 81.5 inches. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I think snowfall ranged from 65 inches in southern/coastal Maine to 128 inches toward the northern/ higher elevated part of the state, though I'm not positive that the report I saw was for this year.
