Default Bugs here, bugs there, bugs everywhere

I go away from here for vacation and come back to many small room mates. There are black beetle things which seem to do nothing but crawl all over the floor, not ants or flies or skeeters yet at least and these things that looke like mini scorpians too. Whole bunch of them.

I could have the house sprayed and have no bugs but would have sick animals too so that is out. As long as they don't eat my books or bite, and the cat keeps their numbers down I'm not too bothered. Fleas, ants, mosquitos and flies are NOT welcome but thats what advantage and screens are for (except for ants, alas). Lots of spiders but unless they are poisonous they can stay and eat the others.

Question is these little and growing black things which look like scorpians. They don't look like earwigs but are about the shape, but have that same head shape as scorpians. If they get bigger and eat other bugs they can stay. Just wonder what they are.

I read that ceder isn't friendly to them and when my friend sends the ceder oil based cleaner I stocked up on while in Arizona from Trader Joes, will see if they avoid it.

And WHY does Trader Joes not have a website???? On the other hand its a good reason to "have" to visit again. (ducking)

Can you get a picture?? Based on your description it is hard to guess... OK has a TON of different creepy crawlers. They could be baby whiptails, or they could be baby scorpions! Whiptail Scorpions are also known as Vinegaroons... There are also Pseudoscorpions.

Lots of us who remember and miss Trader Joes and would love to give them some business. Even better, expand into the middle of the country and go for a market waiting for them to arrive.

Yes, they don't sell on line, and my husband loves their barbecue sauce. Why don't we have a Trader Joe's here? I miss them and Costco.

I have not seen those types of bugs that you mention. Some bugs, like beetles may eat your books. Not sure.

Lady Robin makes them sound scary.
