Default Oil or College Football?

If you woke up tomorrow and one of these things was magically gone, which would you miss more—oil revenues or college football? Which is more important to the state?

That's kind of like asking what you need most, food or water.

We can get oil from Mexico.........ever seen Mexican Football? they wear shorts, use a round ball, and try not to do each other any damage (coming from the land of bull fighting, that seems kinda strange, though).

Well, seeing that you're a Nebraska guy, I'm definitely going with college football!!! No really, in all fairness, the rivalry we have with ya'll is actually based on respect.

Our arch enemies and fellow Southerners, the Shorthorns, well let's just say we wouldn't shed a tear if Austin (The Evil Empire) broke off into the ocean. Can't wait until October when the Sooners just dominate the Horns. BOOMER SOONER!!!

Ha! I don’t live in Nebrasky, but I do have several friends from there. They talk about the place ALL the time. And you are right, they have a great college football team—or at least they did 10 years ago. As for TX, it seems like quite a few of the folks I’ve met from there are all hat and no cattle.

No oil revenue means no college football.
