Oklahoma Horse Lovers!
Anyone who has the room and the heart needs to know about this. 200+ starving horses rescued in NE need homes asap.
This is the CD thread: http://www.city-data.com/forum/8648134-post1.html
And here is the official website: The Nebraska 200: Never Another Hungry Day!
Even if you don't have room for a Horse or a Burro, spread the word! Maybe someone you know does.

Too bad they banned horse slaughter...that ban has led to a lot of suffering for horses.

How sad if I were there I would take one.,or two.Horse slaughter, I don't like it but I don't like horses suffering either. I used to do due horse rescue work but my lack of grazing space has made it financially hard, hence the move to OK. They also suffer at the slaughter houses and at the premarin farms. That is a very hot subject for me.

You're joking, right?
I see a lot of people suffering in the world as well... do you support people slaughter as well?
And BTW, in case you think it's different, it's not. No living being--no matter how much they are suffering--prefers death to suffering. Euthanization is done more for the sake of the humans who don't like to see animals suffering, as well as the lack of proper preventative regulations and programs. Slaughter is not the answer.

Yeah, I'm joking. It's so hilarious. Would I rather be abandoned to starve or given a quick shot? Easy choice for me. Yes, I support horse slaughter. Do some research and you might, too.

No, I will never support it. And yes, I have done my research.
